Well I am finally back on the blog and going to put up a few pics since we have been in Maine. We have been busy almost every day with something to do. 2 weeks ago we had Vacation Bible School with almost 80 kids every night. Then last week Todd and Amy went to Va. for a week so we were at the Farmhouse almost every day. Lots to do. This week I am relaxing a little more and catching up with chores at the house. Not to exciting but lets face it we all have to do these things. Hope you enjoy the pics.

A New Post

Wow it has been a long time since I have written or posted anything new. We are in Maine and lovc living here. I am trying to redo the background and headers on the blog. My granddaughter will help me with this. I tried and failed to figure it out. Hopefully soon there will be new things up to read and look at. Until then Patience is a Virtue!!

It is Basketball time!

It has been a while since I posted anything new so thought I would post these pics of Micah playing basketball. Unfortunately they only won one game but they sure all tried hard. Now it is on to baseball tryouts which were going to be today but it is a nasty rainy dreary day here today. They will do that later. We had a nice day in Asheville and a nice lunch out at the Olive Garden. Then back home and check our weather out to see if there is snow headed our way. Of course if they call for it it won't come. That is always what happens. I also thought I would post a recent pic of Papaw's pride and joy "The old Car" Hope all our family is enjoying a wonderful Saturday.

Christmas Eve and Christmas!!

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve at Tracy's and Christmas Day at Nana and Papaw's. The kids were excited. Micah read the Christmas Story, we opened presents up and had a wonderful dinner. Seems like we just took the tree down and it was Christmas again. That's what happens as you get older I guess. The only thing we were missing was a good snowfall!! That would have made it perfect. The Grove Park Inn and Gingerbread Houses

OOPS, Forgot to put these pics on. I am losing my mind!!! Just when I think I have it alltogether. Ha Ha!! Hope you enjoy the pics. A little note. They have a Gingerbread House Contest each year and people submit them from all over. The winners usually end up being shown on Good Morning America each year. It was fun to look at them and realize all the hard work that went into making each one.

Kaitlyn's 4th Birthday and Thanksgiving Day!

Wow, we got back home and then we celebrated Kaitlyn's 4th birthday which happened while we were in Maine. She was so excited and now can't wait to turn 5. I tried to tell her to relax and enjoy being 4 but I don't think she understood the logic of what I was telling her. I'm also including a family pic of the grandkids in NC for everyone to see. On Thanksgiving Day we went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast. (That is non conventional isn't it?). Then we went to the Grove Park Inn in Asheville to view all the Christmas decorations. Then last but not least we went to Steve's work and had a wonderful Turkey dinner with all the trimmings. It was scrumptious. Now I think I am caught up for now and next will come Christmas. My oh My the time does pass fast doesn't it???
